Georgia Branch, Associated General Contractors of America has a strong 79-year legacy of proudly serving as Georgia's Voice of the Construction Industry. Georgia Branch, AGC represents more than 600 general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and service providers in Georgia. AGC members are the leading commercial - building, highway, municipal/utilities, heavy, industrial, construction manager and design-build - contractors in the state. They are qualified contractors and industry-related firms, dedicated to the principles of Skill, Integrity, and Responsibility.
The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the voice of the construction industry, is an organization of qualified construction contractors and industry related companies dedicated to skill, integrity, and responsibility. Operating in partnership with its Chapters, the association provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members, thereby improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest.
AGC is the nation's largest and oldest construction trade association, established in 1918 after a request by President Woodrow Wilson. Wilson recognized the construction industry's national importance and desired a partner with which the government could discuss and plan for the advancement of the nation. AGC has been fulfilling that mission for the last 85 years.
The Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia, Inc. (ABC) is a construction trade association representing the commercial and industrial markets with 300+ member companies. ABC’s mission is to help its members grow and prosper by building relationships, developing their employees, promoting best business practices, and encouraging effective political involvement.
The American Subcontractors Association
ASA strives to inform building owners, financial representatives, government officials and others of the fact that more than 80 percent of all industrial and commercial construction is performed by subcontractors. It also emphasizes needed reforms on such issues as prompt payment, retainage, surety bonding, lien rights, bidding practices and entitlement to payment
ASA is the only construction association that concentrates exclusively on the business issues affecting all subcontractors and specialty trade contractors. Its growing membership includes both union and nonunion firms from virtually every trade specialty.
Founded in 1904 and headquartered in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the
American Concrete Institute is advancing concrete knowledge by conducting 125 seminars annually, managing 14 different certification programs, publishing more than 400 technical documents, and offering scholarships to students in the field. With 98 chapters and about 15,000 members spanning 108 countries, the American Concrete Institute has always retained the same basic missionto develop, share, and disseminate the knowledge and information needed to utilize concrete to its fullest potential.
